サイン/ my signature

実は、先々週、やっと自分のサインが決まりました！
Last week, I finally made up my own signature!!

はぁ？くだらない・・なにそれ？どういうこと？とお思いのみなさん。私にとってはすごくハッピ～出来事だったので許して～☆
What? You silly・・what do you mean by that in the first place? Maybe you thought like this. If you are one of them, please be patient with me since it was such a happy event for me☆


仕事柄、海外に物を発注することが定期的にあるのですが、そういう時って漢字のはんこはもちろん使えません。だから私の同僚はみんな、読みにくいとっても洗練された、こなれた感じの素敵なサインを使ってます。
いいな～私もかっこいいサインが欲しいなぁ～とず～っと思っていたんだけど、私の名前ってサインにしにくい！っていうか、続けて書きづらい！・・・ということで今まで、まぁいっか～とつまんなーい普通のローマ字サインで過ごしてきたわけなんです。
At work, regularly I place orders with foreign companies. When I do that, of course I am not allowed to use my Japanese personal seal in kanji. So all my co-workers use their kind of sloppy, but very sophisticated, natural, professional signatures. I had been hoping to have my own cool signature like theirs, however I found out that it is not so easy to make a signature out of my name. In the first place, it is hard to write my name in cursive handwriting. So I gave up making it once, and kept using my very boring "signature."



で、その日友達と会っていたら、ちょうど運転免許証の話になって、そこから自然とサインの話へ。
Anyway, that day, when I was with my friend, we happened to talk about her driver's license, and then naturally the topic changed into her signature on it.


友達はアメリカ出身なので、普通にサインをもっていて、運転免許証にもそのサインが書いてあった。
Since she is from America, she has her own signature as natural as a personal seal to Japanese people, and that signature was used for driver's license as a matter of course.


いいな～私も欲しいんだよねぇって話してたら、案の定、じゃあ決めればいいんじゃないの！？ってことになった。（当たり前だよね・・）
I was a bit envious, and told her that I have wanted one. She said..."well, then why don't you make one?"
(it is a natural reaction, isn't it?)

うむむ～・・・

う～ん・・・・・
mm...


って悩んだ挙句、いいのが書けない（汗）アイデアすらなし（汗）
I thought of it for a while, and no good ideas came up to me. I was so far away from the stage of choosing the best-looking one.


だから友達に「○○決めて～☆」って泣きついたら、
So I begged my friend, and said " maybe....you can give me one;)"


「何で私が？自分で決めなよ～！」っていいながら
She said "Why me? You should make one by yourself! ",


アドバイスをくれたの！
but gave me some advice and ideas.


それで、そのアドバイスをもとに（というか、ほぼそのアイデアを全ていただいて）と～ってもかわいいのが出来上がりました☆
I referred to her advice (it was rather "I took in almost all her advice " haha:)), and made up a very cute one!

ちなみに、私のサインの最後には
For your information..., at the end of my signature,

「イエス様は私の心の中にいます」っていうメッセージが入ってるんだよ～！いいでしょ～☆
I put a cross and a heart, which I intended to mean that Jesus is in my heart. Isn't it nice?

会社のオフィシャルな書類に使うにはかなり勇気がいるサインなんだけどね・・
My signature is a little too cure for official documents and it takes me a lot of courage to use it at work though..


でもあまりのうれしさに、その場でレシートの後ろに何回も練習した上、家に帰ってソッコー聖書やらプレイヤージャーナルやら、ありとあらゆるものにサインしまくりました☆
I was so happy about it that I practiced it so many times on receipts I was about to throw away on the spot.
After I went back home, I signed on to my Bible, prayer jornal, and anything else that came into my sight☆

小さなことに幸せになれるってうれしいね～（^-^)
It is such a blessing that we can get excited at a tiny thing(^-^)
